Welcome to our Great Big Trip!

In the summer of 2006, we decided to drive across the continental United States to see what all the fuss is about. Here's how it went.

Each day while we were on the trip, we wrote a little summary of the day's happenings, and whenever we could find an Internet connection, we posted them to this www.greatbigtrip.com website. Lots of our friends and family followed along as we worked our way across the country, and some of them even posted comments. It was the trip of a lifetime, and we were happy to share it with everyone as it happened. Now we're happy to share all 6,325 miles with you.
