As previously stated, I love Holiday World. It's awesome – not too big, not too crowded and way over the top on theme. We started the day with yet another ride around the Raging Rapids. After yesterday's Voyage fiasco I wasn't about to risk another unknown and end up WEIGHTLESS FOR 24.2 SECONDS! Raging Rapids is pretty much my favorite theme park ride of all time and it has it all – water, surprise, a western theme and most importantly...no 100 foot drops – perfect. Next it was on the Howler (formerly known as the Firecracker to all you other Holiday fans), the roller coaster specially conceived for the under 8 crowd. Needless to say, Zach was impressed.
By the way, we decided not to take the camera today, so mostly I'll be ripping pics off from the park website or from yesterday's adventures. This one's from yesterday when we first pulled into the Holiday World parking lot.

Next it was back to the water park for the rest of the day for some more lazy river and extreme water slides. Right off the bat we got in line for the Zinga. You ride in a huge raft big enough for four people down an enclosed tube and get dropped into a giant funnel. My mom won't ride this anymore because she is SURE the raft will flip over sooner or later, but it was really fun, and definitely worth the wait. Zach ended up backwards going down the tube and he says that he could always tell when a drop was coming by the look on my face.

Then came the some more trips down Ron, our favorite Otorongo slide. Of the three, this one is definitely the best (and the longest) ride. You get to ride in a double tube on this one and surprise, Zach usually gets the front. We spent the rest of the afternoon going back and forth between the Bahari wave pool and lazy river.
By 3:30 we were worn out and finally ready for home. Flash forward 3 hours, back in Nashville, just as appreciative as we thought we'd be for the "spring cleaning" we did right before we left. Now the truck – that’s a different story!
