Geysers stink. Literally. I always knew they had a "sulfer smell" to them, but these things really do pump out the stench.
Today we ventured into Yellowstone National Park, followed by Grand Teton National Park, which Bob brought to our attention while telling us about a special he saw on TV called "The Forgotten Park". It turns out that EVERYONE goes to Yellowstone, and NO ONE goes to Grand Teton. Why? We sure can't say, because they're both equeally cool parks. Grand Teton actually offers far better mountain views, but Yellowstone, of course, has Old Faithful. Anyway, I don't have a lot of time to post, so I'm just going to throw some pictures up here for you.
Two good shots of Yellowstone:

And two from a mountain we climbed that overlooks Old Faithful. Way cooler than watching it from ground level.

Not to be outdone, Grand Teton, "The Forgotten Park", offered some sweet views.

And on our way out of Grand Teton, we took a gravel back road that was like a crazy rain forest. Very slow going, and very bumpy.

Sorry about the short post. We've gotta get moving! |
