San Francisco Treats

Wow, San Francisco is a cool city. As I mentioned in an earlier post, we went out for pizza to celebrate Rob's birthday, then we hit a piano bar called "Martuni's". They have the biggest martinis in town, or something. Rob and Avery have so many awesome friends, and we had a great time meeting everyone and trying to remember names.
Rob took us to the Haight-Ashbury area for some shopping (window, mostly) and some excellent food. Everyone around here understands and appreciates the vegan diet, which is a great treat for both of us. One place we went was actually an all-vegan restaurant called Herbivore. It's really nice to sit down in a restaurant and just pick whatever you want from the whole menu. It's something that carnivores like myself take for granted. We even had desserts -- German chocolate cake and blueberry pie, both with a scoop of soy "ice cream".
The biggest news of all is Jenny's new haircut! It was a gift from her brother, Brian, and it looks great. This picture doesn't really do it justice, but here's a quick look:
