Lots of pictures - not as much driving.

Tonight's hotel is much nicer - that extra 3 dollars made all the difference.

I am still learning to use the digital camera, so yesterday as we approached Oklahoma's humongoid welcome sign, I was scrambling and missed the shot. I was ready miles ahead for Texas's welcome sign - with this state's reputation I expected a real show-stopper.

What we got was this lame road sign - so tiny you can barely read it. Texas needs to take a few hints from New Mexico - now there's a sign - bright yellow and red - fully visible even at dusk. Classy too.

Incase you're having a bit of Zach withdrawl, here is one of his funnier moments of the day: Upon examining his old sunglasses he exclaimed, "These glasses sould be called asses." Gold. So we decided it was time to stop at Love's travel center and country store.
